About Justine and Brent  

Justine Gamez Huckabay is the President & Founder of Intercommunicate, a global marketing and communications firm for entertainment and tech clients. An award-winning publicist, she has led campaigns for Warner Bros. Pictures (The Hobbit, Gravity, Argo) and promoted projects at top festivals like Sundance and Cannes. She’s advised international initiatives with the British Council, Venice Biennale, and Red Sea Film Festival, and currently serves on AMPIA’s Board in Alberta. Justine holds an MBA from Oxford and specializes in international media strategy across film, television, and emerging media.

 

Brent Kawchuk is an award-winning writer and producer with a rich career spanning television, documentaries, commercials, and film. He has created acclaimed programming for CBC, YTV, Bravo, and Global, including Street Cents, From The Hip, and the AMPIA- and Rocky Award–winning God Only Knows. Brent has produced Canadian Heritage Minutes, music and performance specials like Balletlujah, and co-produced the feature film American Beer. With degrees in Education and Journalism, Brent brings a deep commitment to storytelling across media and audiences.
